Joan Culberth Memorial Scholarship
Joan Culberth’s Family, Celeste Culberth and Peg Lonnquist, Jay Culberth and Beth Arrigo, wanted to establish this fund to honor the life and legacy of music for Joan. Even when dementia confused many of her memories, music always brought her home. In the last week of her life, when her energy level was quite low and she was not really verbal, a music therapist came in to play guitar and sing to her. She rallied and began to sing the songs, like Eidelweiss and My Favorite Things, with all the words and on pitch! Music is the spirit that animated her life. She inspired us to try to find some way to help spread this gift to others in our community.

TWIN CITIES WOMEN’S CHOIR
The Twin Cities Women’s Choir is a non-auditioned choir for women who love to come together in song. We celebrate our diversity of ages, ethnicities, incomes, backgrounds, sexual orientations, religious beliefs, and abilities. We build community for our singers by mastering music together in a supportive environment and for our audience through joyful performances several times each year.
ENCORE!
ENCORE! is a small ensemble made up of members of The Twin Cities Women's Choir. We are an auditioned ensemble that performs in a variety of venues around the metro area.
